Courses | MOOC: Personalizing Education for Students

Coursera is launching a new course on Blended Learning, starting October 15. This (free) course is six-weeks long and requires just 2 – 4hrs of your time per week. We think this will be a useful course for all teachers, especially those who are looking to find the right balance for the use of technology. From their Website:

Blended Learning: Personalizing Education for Students

Brian Greenberg, Rob Schwartz and Michael Horn

Blended learning is a new educational model with great potential to increase student outcomes and create exciting new roles for teachers. In this course you will learn about the different types of blended learning and the best practices from real schools using these models. In addition, you will develop the tools you need to build your own blended learning program.

Workload: 2-4 hours/week
